We cordially invited you to our spring concert. This is not only a concert but also a charity event. All the revenue of the concert will be donate to Sunday Friends Foundation to contribute to the local community.
This concert features various works by composers in romantic era. So it will be a very romantic afternoon with beautiful sound of strings and piano.
Also, light reception is followed! Enjoy a cup of tea, coffee and cookies after the romantic journey! We can’t wait see you 🙂

Performers’ Bio
Mia Wang/ Violinist
Mia Wang has performed as a soloist, an orchestra player and a cross-over musician in Taiwan and the states. She received her Master of Music performance from Northwestern University, where she studied with professor Gerardo Ribeiro. She was awarded the Eckstein full scholarship during her study at Northwestern.
Born in a family of musicians in Taiwan, Mia starts playing violin at the age of 5. She had her first solo debut at the age of 18 with Taichung City Symphony Orchestra, playing the Mendelssohn violin concerto. Then she pursued her violin study with prof. Chinn-Horng Chen and got her bachelor’s degree from National Taiwan Normal University. During her studies at NTNU, she participated in many master classes and gained the guidance from famous violinists such as Zuo Jun, Andrés Cárdenes, Garry Levinson, Cho-Liang Lin.
As a soloist, Mia regularly has her solo tour in Taiwan. She performed in many well-known venues includes National Chiang Kai-Shek Cultural Center(Taiwan), National Taichung Theater(Taiwan), National Kaoshiung Center for the Arts(Taiwan), Auditorium Giavanni Arvedi(Italy), New World Art Center(USA), Napa Valley Performing Art Center(USA). She was invited to several international music festival with scholarships, such as Manchester music festival, Miami music festival, Napa music festival, and Cremona per Archi music festival.
Liz Tsao/ Cellist
Native Taiwanese. Began her music studies at the age of 5. With a strong passion for music, Tsao professionally plays both cello and piano. She holds a Master’s degree in Cello Performance from Michigan State University under Suren Bagratuni and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in National Taiwan Normal University in Cello Performance major and Piano in minor. She also completed the Suzuki Method training and music education program in Taiwan and had years of experience teaching children.
Tsao is an active performer who enjoys playing solo, chamber music, and orchestras. She attended music festivals across Asia, Europe, and the States. Including Japan Kirishima International Music Festival, “Master Classes at the Centro Studi Carlo Della Giacoma” in Italy, Festival Napa Valley- Blackburn Music Academy, and New England Conservatory Youth Orchestra Festival. She also played in Lansing Symphony, Alma Symphony, Taiwan ProArte Orchestra, Taipei Century Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Chinese Orchestra…etc during these years. Besides Classical music, Liz also enjoys participating in pop music production. She served as a producer assistant in Zoommuzik Recording Studio and was invited as a guest cellist to record single albums with pop singers such as Nan-Quan MaMa, Sam Lee..etc in Taipei, Taiwan.
Liz had over 5 years of experience teaching cello and piano private lessons, group classes, and ensemble coaching. She creates warm, playful, and professional lessons for her students with different needs. She believes all students are unique and has their own strength. Her philosophy is to be flexible and attentive in order to achieve the greatest learning results, meanwhile explore music with students and stimulate their musical potential. Liz currently serves as Cello Instructor at Bravo Conservatory of Music. Also freelancing and in-home teaching in San Jose, California.
